Cross-platform V-Bucks on PlayStation, Xbox, PC and other platforms in Fortnite
Epic Games keep doing things they should have done a long time ago. The new change is about V-Bucks. After more than two years, V-Bucks in Fortnite finally became cross-platform.
How it worked before:
- If you bought a starter pack or another bundle with V-Bucks on PS4, they were available only on PS4 and you can’t see these 600 V-Bucks on PC. It means that part of in-game cash was linked to the platform.
How it works now:
- All V-Bucks are available on any platform (except Switch) and now you don’t have to worry about you have some unused V-Bucks on other platforms.
This feature is very useful and for some reason it was wasted about two years for the realization of this idea. Most likely it was related to accounts hacking, as if something changed now.
By the way, to use this feature, all you have to do is connect your accounts in Epic Games account settings: connect section link (don’t forget to tap on “Accounts” button).
Unfortunately, this way doesn’t work with Fortnite on Switch and the V-Bucks you bought there won’t be cross-platform.
