Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 – week 1 legendary challenges guide

The legendary challenges for week 1 of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 are live, so let’s get right to completing them. All this XP isn’t going to get itself!

There are 5 legendary challenges in week 1 instead of a repeating one. The legendary challenges from the previous season were pretty easy and obvious, while these are much more original. The amount of XP also differs.

Converse with Sunny, Abstrakt, Dreamflower, Riot, or Bushranger – 45,000 XP
Collect Stone from The Aftermath – 30,000 XP
Collect different IO tech weapons – 30,000 XP
Interact with Bunker Jonesy’s conspiracy board – 30,000 XP
Place rubber ducks in Retail Row, Pleasant Park, and Believer Beach – 30,000 XP

Converse with Sunny, Abstrakt, Dreamflower, Riot, or Bushranger

NPCs have there for a long while, and seems like they’re not going anywhere. However, each Season brings us new NPCs to interact with, and Chapter 2 Season 7 isn’t an exception. Take a look at the map and choose which NPC you want to interact with. Some NPCs are aggressive, so I’d recommend you going to the places marked on the second map to complete the challenge faster. But if you want a fight, there’s a couple more NPCs on the first map.

Collect Stone from the Aftermath

You probably remember The Spire from the previous Season. Now it’s gone, and there’s a giant crater called The Aftermath instead of it. The crater is the place you need to go to. Just drop out the Battle Bus and go to the middle of the map to mine some Stone with your pickaxe. But be aware of other players that are also trying to complete this challenge – there might be a lot of them. You can always try to complete this challenge in Team Rumble, and even if you die, you will be able to get back to mining stone in no time.

Collect different IO tech weapons

Besides new objects on the map, there also are new guns! And as you might’ve guessed, you need to collect them for this challenge.

To find a gun that you need and not some pistols, try to find an IO chest.

These chests can be found at IO bases. There are 7 of them on the map, but the chests might be hidden – you might need to listen closely to find one of them. You can also use the Recon Scanner to find the surrounding chests.

Interact with Bunker Jonesy’s conspiracy board

Bunker Jonesy’s conspiracy boards is obviously located near Bunker Jonesy himself. This Season he is located in a small house in the south part of the map. He finally has his own place to live in! To find his conspiracy board, you need to enter the house and seek for the exit. The board will be standing near one of them.

Place rubber ducks in Retail Row, Pleasant Park, and Believer Beach

The most important challenge from all the week 1 legendary challenges from Chapter 2 Season 7 of Fortnite is obviously the one about placing rubber ducks somewhere. You need to place them in certain spots on the map. Here’s the map of the duck spots:
