Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 FNCS

The month of tournaments continues: the first Fortnite FNCS in 2022 was announced. On February 17 players will have the possibility to take part in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 FNCS and compete for prizes totaling 3,008,500 USD.

The event will consist of two qualifying rounds and two weeks of competitions in semifinals and finals.

Qualifiers

The first qualifying round will pass on February 17 and 18, and the second on February 19 and 20.

According to the results of every qualifying round, the eight best duo teams will go to finals of mini-championship

Semi-Finals

Semifinals will start on February 24 and end on February 27 and the value of victory royale is more hight, not like previous mini-championships. To go to the finals you need to win any game or get into the quantity of six teams, which constantly show high results.

In total 50 best teams will compete in the first session in every region, this session will consist of five matches. And according to results, only 11 teams will advance to finals (5 teams with victory royale and 6 teams with stable high results). In the second session (5 matches), teams from 51-61 lines of the leaderboard will take part and 11 best teams will be selected similarly. In the third session (6 matches) – teams from 62-72 lines of the leaderboard, among which only 12 will advance to finals (6 teams with victory royale and 6 teams with stable high results).

Finals

The finals will pass on March 5 and 6, the format of the mini-championship finals will be the same, but with one exception – a match point will appear. If one of the teams will score in total 500 points and win 3 games, the competition will end prematurely with the victory of this team. If in the end of the 12th match no one of the teams will not meet the condition, then the finals will pass like in recent seasons. It’s so difficult to become a winner by a match point, therefore this possibility will be available only for really strong teams.
