Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 has started unexpectedly for the majority of players. We’ve seen some clues that Season 4 will be the last one in Chapter 3, but I don’t think anybody truly believed that a whole chapter can last for only 4 seasons. Nevertheless, there won’t be Chapter 3 Season 5, and we’ll probably be fine with Chapter 4 Season 1.
This page contains all the recent information about the new season, and we’ll try to keep it updated during the season itself (but you can also check the news page).
When does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 start
The new chapter starts on December 4, 2022, as well as the new season. The servers will be up at around 12:00 UTC, but this is an approximation. New chapters’ releases usually take a lot of time to get up and running. We’ve already seen 2-hour delays, as well as 2 day delays, so be ready to wait for some while.
Also, don’t forget that you can download the new season a few hours before the servers start.
When does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 event happen
The Fracture event that starts Chapter 4 of Fortnite will happen on December 3, 21:00 UTC. Remember that you need to log into the game some time before the event starts, so launching the game at around 19:30 – 20:00 should be fine.
Any Fortnite event is basically another holiday, and a huge amount of players wants to see it. Therefore, if you don’t want to miss it, be sure to come a little earlier.
And don’t forget that there will be an in-game timer a week before the event starts, so you won’t miss the event date and time.
When does Chapter 4 Season 1 end
Usually, a Fortnite season lasts around 75-80 days, so you can expect the new season to end on February 10-20, but we won’t know the actual end date until the season starts. A new Chapter is a rare event, so the season length rules can easily become changed by Epic Games and the season will possibly be longer.
There’s a chance that the new Battle Pass will feature Pokémon outfits, because we’ve had some clues to that collaboration. However, we can only expect some serious leaks a few days before the season actually starts.
The Fortnite map will drastically change and we won’t see the current island ever again. We can expect some old forgotten locations to come back as well as some new ones, but we don’t have any exact information yet.
The only thing we know is that the developers have been testing the map for more than a month.
