When is the Chapter 2 Season 7 Fortnite event? How to watch live Fortnite event

A few hours before the 17.21 update, a new Abductor appeared on the map, as well as a countdown timer next to it. As you can guess, the countdown is for some kind of in-game event. As many people think, the event will be a live event, like the previous Fortnite events we’ve already seen before Chapter 2 Season 7.

According to the countdown numbers, the Chapter 2 Season 7 live Fortnite event will start on the 6th of August, at 10 PM UTC. There will be several replays of the event, so you can either visit one or two of them, or even all of them. The replays will be the same each time, so you can just visit the one that has the most comfortable time for you.

How to watch the live Fortnite event

As expected, this question might be the most popular one, considering that a lot of people couldn’t watch the recent live events. As we already mentioned above, the date of the event can change in the future, but it is set to August 6, 10 PM UTC for now. And if the date is right, you will need to launch the game an hour before the event starts. Most likely, the servers won’t be able to handle the amount of players, so you need to come as early as you can.

When the event is approximately half an hour away, a special game mode will appear for it. Select that game mode and enjoy watching the live event.
