Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 – all the important information

The rumors about Chapter 3 were spreading really quickly. First, people were making theories, then, data miners started posting leaks, and finally, we got some official information. The players have different opinions about it – a lot of them already hate the map of Chapter 2 and want to get something new, while content creators are terrified by the amount of work they will need to do. But anyway, Chapter 3 Season 1 of Fortnite is coming soon, so let’s prepare by learning something about it.

When will Chapter 3 Season 1 of Fortnite start

The final event of Chapter 2 Season 8 will take place on December 5, and the new Chapter 3 Season 1 will start around December 7, 2021.

Now that “The End” playlist got leaked I can finally talk about this: Chapter 3 is planned to launch on December 7th (It’s SOO good btw) and the Blackhole stays during 5th-6th.

The players won’t be able to play for 2 days straight, but, of course, we all will have a brand-new Chapter, map, new mechanics and outfits, so that’s justified.

When will the event for Chapter 3 Season 1 happen

The season hasn’t even started yet, so we don’t know anything about its event yet. Follow the news to know the date of the final event, if there’s even going to be one in Chapter 3 Season 1.

When will Chapter 3 Season 1 of Fortnite end

The end date of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 isn’t known yet, but if you look at the previous seasons, Chapter 3 Season 1 might end around May 2022.

The map of Chapter 3 Season 1

The map of Chapter 3 will be radically different from the previous one, which can be expected from a new age of Fortnite.

Expected changes:

• There’s a possibility that the new map will have new environment objects, such as new trees, rocks etc. (see the image below).
• The map will be reworked completely, so we don’t know any of the future locations. However, we’ve already had some rumors that “the location of The Seven will be revealed”.
• Some players noticed a volcano on the new teasers, so there’s a possibility that there will be one on the new island.

We’ll get an official map only when the season starts, but there’s already a popular concept on the Internet.

It’s become viral because its name is the same as the map’s name in the files – both are called Artemis. The concept also features the volcano, which was noticed on the event teaser, as well as a jungle and the location of The Seven.

Fun fact: the concept was posted in the middle of the season, and the leaks became known only after a while.

Chapter 3 Season 1 outfits

The Battle Pass outfits aren’t known yet, so we can’t say anything about them. However, we already know a lot about the upcoming collaboration outfits:

Spider-Man from Marvel Comics

We’ve been hearing rumors about Spider-Man in Fortnite for a long while now, so let’s just hope that they’re true, and he will actually get added to the game. This statement is based on the leaked information about swinging mechanics from the files.

Darth Vader and C-3PO from Star Wars

Fortnite players might also see Darth Vader and C-3PO from the Star Wars universe. The rumors about them are based on the background from one of the videos Donald Mustard made. Usually, everything that Donald likes, gets added to Fortnite. The game already has characters from Terminator, Wonder-Woman, and the characters from The Matrix are also expected to come soon.

Besides that, we can possibly see collaborations between Fortnite and Gravity Falls, Tarzan of the Apes and others mentioned below.

Neo and Trinity from The Matrix

The new Matrix movie is coming out in December 2021, and data miners say that Neo and Trinity from the movie might be added to Fortnite.

Boba Fett and Fennec Shand from Star Wars

Boba Fett and Fennec Shand outfits will certainly be added to Fortnite, because we’ve already had an official announcement from the developers. The collaboration’s estimated start date is set to December 25.
