Fortnite will become less productive on epic settings in Chapter 2 Season 7

In Chapter 2 Season 7 of Fortnite there will not only be new skins or collaborations, but also better Epic graphic settings. Are you surprised? We are too. But players on weak computers can enjoy Fortnite’s beauty only on the pictures or on YouTube.

Fortnite will become less productive on epic settings in Chapter 2 Season 7

In Chapter 2 Season 7 developers promise us cool effects, post-processing and incredibly clear shadows on epic graphics settings. Fortnite will shine with new colours, with new improved effects of Zone and clouds, and also with better simulation for smoke and liquids. Explosion effects, fire and slurp will become cooler! And don’t forget about glare, glow and shadows – everything that prevents the game from delivering stable FPS.

I think it’s obvious that system requirements for the new graphics won’t be the same. Old Epic settings will become High, but Normal and Low will be the same.

If you want to “watch” Fortnite, here are the recommended system requirements for new Epic settings:

  • Nvidia GTX 1080, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, or equivalent GPU
  • 4 GB VRAM or higher
  • Intel Core i7-8700, AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, or equivalent
  • 16 GB RAM or higher
  • NVMe Solid State Drive
  • Windows 10 64-bit

The minimum system requirements haven’t changed, but it is recommended using Windows 10:

  • Intel HD 4000 on PC; Intel Iris Pro 5200
  • Core i3-3225 3.3 GHz
  • 4 GB RAM
  • Windows 7/8/10 64-bit

We all understand how this update will be: millions of bugs, errors, lags, hundreds of lost FPS and nerves, maybe, a pair of burned computers. Super graphic settings are good, only while events, otherwise all these useless particles and crisp shadows will only interfere with the game.
