If you play video-games, including Fortnite, you know what KD (K/D, K/D/A) ratio is. If you don’t, K/D is a ratio between your kills amount and your deaths amount. Knowing your KD can help you know if you’re getting better at the game.

What is a good KD

There is no actual answer to this question, but there are several criteria for assessing this indicator.

Number of games played
Dynamics of growth or fall of KD
Number of wins

Consider these criteria when evaluating the opponent’s or a teammate’s KD. If the KD grows from one season to another, it means that he is working on his game and improving it. And if you see a person who has 10 games and at the same time KD 10 – this does not mean that the player is insanely good. Probably because of the new account, he came across weak players or bots and thanks to the victories he was able to raise the KD very much (if you win the game, then there are no deaths, your kills are transferred to the next game).

All we can say for sure is that if a player’s KD is less than 1, then most likely they are playing the game for fun and instead of playing hard and trying to win the game.
