XP glitch broke Fortnite Creative

And yesterday, on January 9, an interesting event happened — the developers completely disabled the display of maps and the possibility to play on the islands.

And all this because of one glitch that allowed the players to get 1,000,000 XP! In a few minutes, the abuser players got level 100, and the developers got a headache.

Three hours later, this XP glitch was fixed by the Fortnite developers, but the troubling remained. And I have only one rhetorical question: why would they add the possibility of getting XP in creative mode, if they can’t control it? It would be okay, if this was the first such glitch, but this happens all the time.
